Emily Rault

ABOUT

Born in the winters of northern Canada to a family of musicians and raised on Soul, Roots, Jazz, Gospel and R&B, Emily Rault began singing and performing professionally at a very young age. While touring with her brother Michael Rault, Emily honed her musical abilities, sharing stages with phenomenal performers throughout Europe and North America. Emily began the soul infused rock and roll girl group The Fortrelles in her home town of Edmonton Alberta, and has been featured as lead and backing vocalist on numerous albums including her debut EP Getting Burned in 2015.

A chance booking in support of soul singer Charles Bradley in 2011 subsequently led to a lasting friendship and collaboration with Billy Aukstik of Dala Records and the eventual recording of her debut single "See The Light" in early 2017.

Since relocating to Sweden, Rault has secured a spot as a house performer at Melt Bar in Stockholm. When not busy heating up Stockholm's nightlife, Emily can be found touring frequently  throughout Europe.
